It allows you to be a part of the group without even saying a word, it boosts your social life and helps you stay safe on your runs. If you cannot find a suitable running club in your area, why not start your own? It might sound more complicated than it really is, so here are some tips to get you started.

See what people want

If you know a couple of people that would be interested in joining a running club, ask them what time and locations work best with their busy schedules. For the beginning, organize two running days a week, one of which will be reserved for discovering new running routes in your area. 

Be persistent

It is quite possible that not a lot of people will show up at first, but do not get discouraged. It can take some time until the word gets out and more potential members find out about your club.
